A large number of people live in a quiet island town called Port Gamble. Tom (Doug Fahl) and Lance (Cooper Hopkins) are a gay couple who came to Port Gamble so that Tom can finally ‘come out’ to his mother. Further, Frida (Janette Armand) is an American born daughter of an Iranian restaurant owner (Ali Hamedani) and is struggling to define and grasp her identity. The town is also full of some small-minded people who fear foreigners and homosexuals. All of a sudden the town is infested by a zombie virus and people start turning into zombies. Many believe that the zombie outbreak is due to terrorist attacks.
