With his hunger for speedy justice and little patience with regulations, San Francisco cop Dirty Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) has managed to anger the chief of police (Pat Hingle), the city’s major, a local mobster. and a juvenile criminal. While things cool down at home, Callahan is sent to Sao Paolo to investigate the serial murder of a group of men who were shot in the groin. As Harry investigates he gets involved with Jennifer Spencer (Sondra Locke) who lives haunted by the rape, 10 years earlier, of her sister Elizabeth. While Callahan doesn’t know it, as he gets closer to Jennifer he is also getting closer to solving the riddle of the serial murders.
