Two brothers promise their father that they will be successful and become outlaws. The older brother, Bambino (Bud Spencer) reluctantly agrees to show the younger Trinity (Terence Hill) how it works, but their kind nature tends to get in the way because they keep helping the original family they held up. They head to a Spanish mission where they are mistaken for federal agents by the daughter of the family they've helped, whom is also Trinity's love interest.
