Pooh (Jim Cummings), Tigger (Jim Cummings), Rabbit (Ken Sansom), Piglet (John Feidler), Eeyore (Peter Cullen), Kanga (Kathy Soucie), and Roo (Nikita Hopkins) hear a strange noise in the forest just outside the Hundred Acre Wood. Could it be the horrible Heffalump? Rabbit decides they (Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and himself) must capture the beast. Rabbit teaches them a great catch phrase and they set about practicing with lassos and other gizmos. As they suit up and ready themselves to head out, Rabbit tells Roo that he is too little to go on such a dangerous adventure. Not about to be left behind, Roo sets out alone to discover and then capture the dreaded Heffalump. Lumpy (Kyle Stanger) turns out to be a fun-loving little fellow who loves to jump, sing, and play just like Roo. (Oh, and he’s very fond of HONEY like a certain silly old bear.) Roo “uncaptures” his new friend then tries to reunite him with his mom (Brenda Blethyn), whose trumpeting he can no longer hear. But when Rabbit, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and Pooh see Heffalump tracks throughout the Hundred Acre Woods, they are frightened and set traps for the little Heffalump with unexpected consequences.
