Squanto (Adam Beach) was reluctantly taken to England from where he was living – New England homeland. He manages to get out of there. He also manages to steal a small boat and heads to the sea. The fortunes did not favour the brave this time and his boat succumbs to the lethal storm. He is then found by friars and Squanto lives with them in their monastery till the time he could take a shot at going back home. He finally succeeds in returning but he confronts something really depressing. He found his fellow men clutched with plague and English people dwelling in his land. He’s left with the only option of joining hands with other tribal people in their attack on the Pilgrim or endeavouring to establish peace between the two parties
