Valley Boy and California teenager with little understanding of history ends up, through time travel miracles by means of an earthquake, in the court of King Arthur (Joss Ackland) and his knights. Calvin Fuller (Thomas Ian Nicholas) may not know much about history or English culture, but he recognizes trouble and unfriendly faces, like Lord Belasco (Art Malik) whose nemesis is the sorcerer named Merlin (Ron Moody). Merlin needs assistance to protect the Princess Sarah (Kate Winslet) from Belasco’s hand in marriage. Fortunately for Calvin, he has brought a few items with him from the future to influence old King Arthur, but must have the self-assurance to become a knight on Medieval terms.
