Eccentric millionaire Quincy Magoo (Leslie Nielsen) has very bad eyes. Despite of this he refuses to wear eyeglasses at all. Because of his bad seeing he always gets into trouble or in dangerous situations. This time he is visiting the museum. Unfortunately right at this moment Luanne LeSeur (Kelly Linch) is trying to steel the "star of kurdistan" a priceless famous gem. During this robbery Quincy Magoo gets the "star of kurdistan" inhis hands. Not knowing exactly what hat happend hes is suddenly the object of the manhunt. Both, FBI and the robbers of the museum are trying to catch him and of course the priceless "star of kurdistan".
