It’s been more than forty years since anyone has seen or heard from the Cylons, more than forty years since an armistice brought an end to their bloody uprising against their human creators and sent them off to a world they could freely call their own. And this year, just like every other, the humans send an emissary to the Armistice Space Station, constructed in the hopes that the humans and Cylons could somehow learn to coexist diplomatically. And every year, the Cylons fail to show. But this year is different. This year, someone is coming. Cylon centurions enter the station accompanied by a human woman. Right before the station is destroyed, and soon after, all twelve of the human colonies in a stealth attack by the Cylons meant to wipe out all of humanity. All that remains is a handful of survivors, a rag-tag collection of ships in which to house those lucky enough to be chosen to leave their destroyed homes, and one ancient Battlestar ship, the Galactica, once scheduled for decommission, to protect them all.
