The sixth of the classic TV series finds our heroes, Lister (Craig Charles), Rimmer (Chris Barrie), Kryten (Robert Llewellyn) and Cat (Danny John-Jules) parted from the eponymous space ship, Red Dwarf. Instead they ride the smaller craft, Starbug, in hot pursuit. Things do not go smoothly however. The bigger ship is gaining on them, and their attempts at shortcuts invariably bring them more trouble: Such as find themselves attacked by alien Psirens. Detained by an insane android. Fighting a deadly virtual reality computer virus. Forced into an alien marriage for supplies and sucked through a wormhole before finally having to confront their future selves in a spectacular finale.
