“Robin Hood” is the classic story of ‘stealing from the rich and give to the poor’ a motto which the acrobatic Robin Hood (Douglas Fairbanks) lives by. When King Richard (Wallace Beery) leaves for one of his many crusades, he leaves his brother, Prince John (Sam De Grasse) as regent. While Richard is away, Prince John shows his true evil ways ruling England as a tyrant would. Concerned for her country, Marian (Enid Bennett) writes the Earl of Huntingdon (Douglas Fairbanks) who puts his own life at risk to return home to thwart John’s plans. However the Prince has had him and his men outlawed who now must turn to a life of the outlaw to stop the injustice on the kingdom.
