“Johnny Dangerously” is the story of two brothers who go separate ways. Johnny Kelly (Michael Keaton) goes on to become a famous mobster named Johnny Dangerous while his brother Tommy Kelly (Griffin Dunne) goes to law school and becomes the District DA. As time goes by Johnny makes good with his boss, Jocko Dundee (Peter Boyle) and when an attempt on Jocko’s life fails during a gang war with Roman Moronie (Richard Dimitri), Jocko leaves the Dundee Gang in Johnny’s hands. Now this doesn’t sit well with gangster Danny Vermin (Joe Piscopo) who feels he should be in control and sets Johnny up for a fall. Now Johnny has to escape death row and clear his name while evading Vermin’s goons and the law.
