Set in 1999, a group of Martians who are inhabiting Mars are not happy when Earth starts sending groups of people and astronauts to their planet. They start doing horrible things to the humans such us killing the first two astronaunts and then brainwashing another group. The tables are soon turned when Colonel Wilder (Rock Hudson) learns that the chicken pox, brought by some of the previous visitors from Earth, is slowly killing most the Martians. Colonel Wilder then starts to become sympathetic towards their plight and becomes literally consumed with removing the traces of the inhabitants of Earth from Mars.
