"That Touch Of Mink" depicts a battle of the wills with a romantic early 1960's twist. Philip Shayne (Cary Grant) and Cathy Timberlake (Doris Day) meet by accident when his car splashes her all over and ruins her clothes. Afterwards, they realize that there is an attraction between them and soon fall in love. However, there is a problem. Amorous Philip wants to go all the way with wholesome Cathy, but she is adamant about wanting to get married before anything happens. Eventually, Philip convinces her to go on a tropical trip with him, but he quickly learns that wooing Cathy into bed is not as easy as he had imagined.
