“The Cutter” sees ex-cop, John Shepard (Chuck Norris) turned free agent private investigator. After a deadly staged rescue of an elderly diamond cutter, Isaac Teller (Bernie Kopell) who is caught in the midst of his own rescue, Shepard becomes ridden with guilt. Having begun a case with the diamond cutter against some mysterious SS Agent, Shepard now has to team with the diamond cutter’s niece, Elizabeth Teller (Joanna Pacula). Together the two have to learn the secret of Elizabeth’s uncle and the depths of his harrowed past in an Auschwitz prison. These are all clues that become vital to the success of this second attempt at freeing a kept man in more ways than one.
