Hercules is the legendary story of Hercules (Steve Reeves) also known as Ercole, during which he accompanies Jason (Fabrizio Mioni) and his Argonauts on the quest for the golden fleece. The story centers on Hercules as opposed to other telling of this story that have come after. Hercules falls in love with Iole (Sylva Koscina), the daughter of King Pelias (Ivo Garrani) whom Hercules eventually matches wits with his son who dies at the vicious bite of the Nemean lion. Along the adventure, Hercules is also joined by Ulysses (Gabriele Antonini), the archer with the dead on aim. Will Hercules reject his immortality for Iole’s hand in marriage?
