The Disney film "The Ugly Dachsund" starts out with a couple taking their pregnant dachnsund to the vet to have her puppies. They are pulled over by a police man, who when told they are having a baby, wrongly assumes that the wife is having a baby and offers to escort them to the hospital. He goes to the hospital while they continue to the vet's office. Once there, the dachsund has her puppies with no complications, and they are asked to foster a Great Dane puppy who is orphaned. The dachsund mom adopts the Great Dane puppy and raises him with the rest of her litter, resulting in a Great Dane who is convinced he is a small dog. There are many comic situations that arise from a very large dog--Great Danes can weigh upwards of 100 pounds--who believes he is a dachsund, since the average standard dachsund weighs between 17 and 25 pounds. Things are made even worse because the dachsund puppies frequently wreak havoc on the house and parties, but somehow the Great Dane always takes the blame. However, in true Disney style, the Great Dane is vindicated in the end and saves the day.
