“Escape from the Planet of the Apes” sees Cornelius (Roddy McDowall), Zira (Kim Hunter) have escaped their doomed planet Earth in the same spaceship that brought the first two humans to the planet years before. Their rocket passes trhough the same time disturbance that brought Taylor to the planet in the first place. This propels them back in time into Earth’s past. Once on Earth they become instant sensations, wined and dined and treated like celebrities. Except one man Dr. Otto Hasslien (Eric Braeden) who has his suspicions that the apes are hiding something and delves deeper into their history. Once learning that they come from a future where apes enslave mankind, Doctor Hasslien begins a high-level plot that forces the apes to run for their lives!
