When hunter Xixo (Nixau) finds a Coke bottle, dropped from a small plane, in the middle of the Kalahari desert he thinks the gods have sent it to his tribe as a gift. But when the tribe begins to fight over it, he believes it must be a test from the gods and he knows he must go to the end of the earth to throw it back to the gods. Having never encountered others in the civilized world, he meets a scientist, Andrew Steyn (Marius Weyers), and a school teacher, Kate Thompson (Sandra Prinsloo) who try to help him along his way. However, when a revolution led by Sam Boga (Louw Verwey) in a neighboring country fails, they are all caught up in the terrorist's kidnapping to avoid being brought back to face the government he tried to overthrow. Xixo becomes the one to try to rescue his new friends from Sam Boga and his men.
