The immortal Scottish highlander, Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) believes that he has finally won the prize after defeating all the other immortals. He has taken on the modern day alias of Russell Nash and is happily living his life with his adopted son. However, an immortal, Kane (Mario Van Peebles), who was trapped for hundreds of years in a Japanese cave is suddenly freed and out for Connor’s head. Kane has the power of illusion that he obtained when he killed an immortal who was a Japanese magician. Kane sets out to trap Connor by using the people he cares for against him. Connor and Kane become embroiled into a fight to the death for the ultimate prize.
